SEPPL” is the riveting and true historical biography of a WWI ace fighter pilot, who drifted into clandestine arms dealing with Turkey, China, Spain, and Finland. He was pursued by the Gestapo and the SS because he had dared to confront Hitler, but was protected by his war comrade and friend, Hermann Göring, Hitler’s deputy.

Klaus (aka Nick) Veltjens was born in Germany and saw the collapse of social cohesion after WWII. He became a prisoner of war with the Soviet Russians at the age of sixteen. He was released because of his age and went home in September 1945.
He studied architecture, and came to Australia in 1951. He is now an Australian citizen and, retired from his profession, lives on a small farm the Mornington Peninsula with his wife, Christine. They have two children.
